MY NEXT STEP...

My trusted friend and fellow stylist want to plant ourselves in a place where we can grow. We want a salon where other like minded stylist who strive for continuous growth and knowledge have the support they need and can therefore always provide their best to clients. Our plan for booth rental success is to offer a welcoming, supportive workplace that helps stylist build themselves as professionals and respects as well as supports them moving forward in the industry. Our salon will evolve with our stylist.  We will continue to invest in education and in all professionals who work in our industry to uphold our ideal image. We as owners will continue to be passionate stylist, work our own chair and pay accordingly for our space to ensure stability, growth, and because we want more then a free place for ourselves to work at the end of the day. Our layout will be open to our dispensary. The mixing of color will be in clear view to clients, they will know the care taken to measure, mix, chart and that only professional products are ever used. Our stylist will have a listening ear for any questions and ideas working in the next chair. We want to offer licensed non working/travel stylist a place to serve their clients or do their families hair. This day rate station will bring in other stylist, customers, and help with promote retail sales that will fund our continuing education. Our salons attractive image and simplicity will offer a desirable place for wedding parties to enjoy privately as a beauty venue, for small in home business to host events and attract new customers for both the  salon and event host. We will have education available for clients wanting to learn more and know the products & tools needed to daily style their own hair. Offering all the tricks and tips of products and styling tools will have clients excited to purchase their products from our salon and stylist. They will have the products & tools available to them when they leave to achieve the same results at home after their salon visit. We will thank them with loyalty cards & entries for seasonal giveaways.  We will promote our retail and give helpful advice on professional products to everyone. We will market to non retail salons and stylist to refer their clients to us for take home hair care products without worry because we respect client loyalty to stylist in our industry. We will show appreciation and gratitude to our community by giving back and helping others businesses grow by confidentiality referring customers to trusted professionals in our community whether it be Beauty services we don’t offer, buying a home, car or needing a electrician or plumbing. BLOOMING. Always... Through the success & happiness of the stylist that we share our space with and the loyal clients that provide the foundation and inspiration to fulfill our dreams.  We will strive to create a salon atmosphere we believe people deserve and need. A place for all clients. A place for stylist to continue to grow and have support to move ahead to achieve their own goals. We will only offer services we ourselves know and have spent time learning in detail. Services we continue to fine tune and better ourselves in. We will retail trusted brands and products that we are passionate about. We will grow. We will stand out for our belief that independent stylist can come together, support each other and have success! We will pride ourselves with high standards for customer service. The love for our salon family, which includes stylist & clients, will be what people share about BLOOM when asked by others in our community. We want our passion and love for the industry & our clients to be an inspiration to others. We want to help everyone grow and achieve their dreams. We want to play a part inspiring new stylist & new salon owners that they can achieve their goals. I have done a lot of hair. I have helped manage & open salons, I have had my own salon. I have never stopped growing as a stylist & for that am soooooo thankful. I have read and researched what is important in the hair industry, what clients look for in a stylist and a salon, how to set yourself apart & be successful and why you should never compare or compete with other salons, why product knowledge is important to know and share with clients. I know how hard the stylist that inspire me have worked to achieved their own goals and that they always have the help of a trusted mentor to guide them along the way. I have shared my knowledge through my own experiences freely. I have learned how good it feels to praise my fellow stylist and appreciate all the talent I have been so blessed to be surrounded with for the past 17 years.  I have learned that you can never be the best at EVERYTHING! Be the best at ONE THING! 

I was lucky to have had an amazing mentor from day one in my career. I was given the opportunity a few years later to work for a cosmetologist, who was also a smart determined business woman. She was a huge inspiration to me. Her passion for salon ownership & support to her stylist was something that truly stood out to me. She never thought poorly of stylist when they departed to fulfill THEIR goals and dreams on their own. This still is what set her apart from anyone I have ever worked with. She showed me that true success is a multitude of things. She was a professional and she believed what you put in is what you get out. She believed each person involved in the success of her business was important and should know that. What you give, you get in return. She was so good to me, I couldn’t help but give her my best always, and I did! The first year I worked in her salon my income doubled and her retail sells did the same. She was my biggest fan and she proved it with referrals. I was an asset to her company, she made sure my happiness was a priority because of that. I want to give to others what she gave me. I want to know that I added to someone’s life because I was a positive example and I supported all those around me.
